Just to get rid of some confusion: vrrp is not included with pen, and how
to use it differs from one operating system to another. There are two vrrp
implementations listed on Freshmeat, one for Linux and one for BSD. It is
doubtful if either of them is legal, because Cisco claims to have a patent
on vrrp.
There is no reason to not go with heartbeat, and considering vrrp's legal
status it might actually be a good idea to change the documentation to say
so.
